1. The type of occupation determines a person’s income.

Ans. Generally, fewer skills are required to perform primary occupations such as animal husbandry, lumbering, etc. Therefore, people engaged in these occupation get comparatively less income.

On the other hand, greater skills are required to perform quaternary occupations such as designing buildings, treating patients, teaching, etc. Therefore, people engaged in these occupations get comparatively high income. In this way, the type of occupation determines a person’s income.


2. Primary occupations are associated with developing countries while tertiary, with developed countries?

Ans. Primary occupations require comparative lesser amount of skills and capital investment. On the other hand, tertiary occupations require comparatively more amount of skills and capital investment.

In developing countries, the capital formative rate is comparatively low. On the other hand, in developed counties, the capital formation rate is comparatively high. Therefore, primary occupations are associated with developed countries.


3. Quaternary occupations are not commonly seen.

Ans. Quaternary services are not of an ordinary nature. There services are rendered only by those people who have some special skills/expertise. Therefore, quaternary services are not commonly seen.
